    • Historic District Walking Tour

      Description: Albany is considered a "must see" destination for people who love historic buildings. Four districts on the National Register of Historic Places boast over 800 historic homes and commercial buildings. Thirteen classic architectural styles are represented in Albany, giving it a reputation as having the most varied collection of historic architecture in the state. Everything from the simplicity of the early Federal to the eclectic Queen Anne grace the historic community.

    • Talking Water Gardens Tour
      Starts: 7:30 am

      Location: 577 Waverly Drive Northeast, Albany, OR, United States
      Description: Talking Water Gardens is the first public/private engineering project of its kind in the United States: a constructed treatment wetland designed to provide an additional level of natural treatment for a combined municipal and industrial wastewater flow. The “water gardens” cool treated wastewater before entering the Willamette River. Wetland cells are connected by soft-surface walking trails. Many trails are elevated to give visitors a beautiful view of the natural system at work including the plants and wildlife that have found this place as a new home.

    • Procession of the Species

      Description: On April 26, 2014 at 10:00 am Historic Downtown Albany will host the annual Procession of the Species! Dress up like your favorite tree, animal or imaginary creature! Line up starts at 9:30 in front of the Linn County Courthouse
      (4th Avenue and Broadalbin Street SW). The Parade ends at the Albany Saturday Market where the Celebration continues with booths offering environmental activities and giveaways.
      No Words, No live animals, No motorized vehicles.

    • Up Stairs Downtown Loft Tour & Wine Walk

      Location: Historic Downtown Albany Oregon
      Description: Starting at 4pm until 8pm you can visit lofts that are normally off limits to the public. May have been recently renovated. This is a FREE event designed to kick of National Historic Preservation Month. 541-928-2469

      Wine Walk participants can get a glass and taste wines from 20+ wineries in shops on First Ave.
      Note all alcohol must be consumed in the stores that are hosting the wineries.
